    • PVopti is an hour-based calculation tool designed to evaluate the grid interaction of buildings with photovoltaic (PV) systems and other energy technologies. It enables users to optimize PV systems’ self-consumption and solar coverage for various building types and uses. It calculates key metrics such as grid feed-in, grid consumption, and self-consumption, providing monthly and annual values for analysis.

The tool supports buildings with up to four usage zones, three heat generators, and three PV systems. It also includes options for integrating electrical storage and cooling demands. PVopti simplifies input by offering default values for components, which users can customize. This makes it accessible for designers and building owners to assess PV system performance, optimize energy usage, and explore storage solutions.

PVopti is a key part of the Minergie verification process and can also be used independently. Its robust features help users make informed decisions about PV system sizing and integration, ensuring sustainability and energy efficiency in building design.
