    • Minergie is Switzerland's leading building standard, promoting comfort, efficiency, and climate protection for both new constructions and renovations. It emphasizes high-quality building envelopes, controlled ventilation, and the consistent use of renewable energy, including solar power, to ensure CO2-free operation and reduced greenhouse gas emissions during construction and use.

The Minergie standard includes three key certifications: Minergie, which focuses on high energy efficiency; Minergie-P, which prioritizes passive design with minimal energy requirements; and Minergie-A, which achieves near-zero energy consumption through renewable energy and self-sufficiency. Renovations benefit from a simplified certification process under Minergie Systemerneuerung, while Minergie-Areale supports mixed-use developments combining existing and new buildings, emphasizing low energy consumption and renewable energy use.

The standard also offers an ECO add-on to address health and ecological considerations and includes MQS Bau for quality control during construction and MQS Betrieb for operational monitoring to ensure energy efficiency and low costs. By integrating these components, Minergie-certified buildings deliver long-term sustainability, comfort, and value while supporting Switzerland’s climate and energy goals.
