    • viride is a web-based platform developed by the Institute for Sustainability and Energy in Construction (INEB) at FHNW. It empowers architects, planners, and other stakeholders to integrate sustainability into the planning process using either manual data entry (greenDESIGN) or BIM workflows with IFC models (greenBIM).

The platform allows for comprehensive analysis of greenhouse gas emissions across construction, operation, and mobility. It supports circular economy strategies through material reuse, recycling, and life cycle assessments, using an extensive materials database. viride also ensures alignment with key Swiss regulations and sustainability standards, including KBOB, SIA2032, SIA2040, SIA390/1, SIA380/1, SIA2024, SIA2039, Minergie-P-A/ECO, and SNBS.

Real-time impact visualisation offers users data-driven insights, enhancing decision-making and transparency. A demo version is available, with the full platform launch planned for autumn 2025.
