DELPHIN is a simulation tool for detailed calculations of building components and construction details. Applications include thermal bridge calculations, dimensioning and evaluation of interior insulation systems, ventilated facades and roofs, moisture damage assessment, drying processes and year-round heating energy requirements.
The software allows different climate and boundary conditions to be defined and includes a climate database. It provides an extensive material database with verified material functions and allows users to define new materials and material properties.
DELPHIN supports one-, two- and three-dimensional calculations. Results can include temperature, humidity, water content, heat and moisture flows and other parameters. The software provides flexible options for creating diagrams as well as two- and three-dimensional visualisations.
