    • Compagnon’s tool library is an online platform that gathers a wide range of tools and teaching resources developed by Professor Raphaël Compagnon during his work at the Fribourg School of Engineering and Architecture (HEIA FR). The site provides open access to interactive applications and software dedicated to building physics, solar energy, and environmental design.

      Among the featured tools are STEREO for stereographic sunpath diagrams, SOLANGLES for analyzing solar incidence, OVERH for calculating window shading, IBIC for image based irradiation studies, UBC for assessing solar and daylight access in urban canyons, mPET for physiological equivalent temperature, and HUMIDEX for comfort evaluation.

      The library also includes open source software such as INDALUX for daylight and solar characterization in urban environments, as well as educational resources like BTbat, Dcalc, and GNOMON. Continuously maintained and freely available, Compagnon’s Tool Library serves architects, engineers, and educators as a reference hub for sustainable building design and climate analysis.
