    Dewbee enables Heat and Moisture Transfer (HAMT) simulations in Grasshopper while remaining fully compatible with Honeybee (Ladybug Tools). Dewbee activates the Combined Heat and Moisture Transfer module in EnergyPlus, which uses a finite element approach to model coupled heat and moisture behavior in building components.

    Unlike conventional models, HAMT captures how heat and moisture are stored and how they move within building elements. This makes it especially important for assessing indoor climate and comfort in buildings that include hygroscopic materials such as earth, timber, and bio-based materials.

    Dewbee is modular by design — apply HAMT only where needed, define custom materials, and run multi-year simulations to assess long-term performance.
