    • The Construction Material Pyramid is an interactive tool helping users understand the CO₂ emissions of building materials. Inspired by the food pyramid, it ranks materials by their environmental impact: high-emission materials at the top and low- or negative-emission materials, like wood, at the base. Users can sort materials by weight, volume, or functional units, enabling performance-based comparisons.

The tool calculates emissions for life cycle phases A1–A3 (material extraction to production) using EPDs and allows custom pyramids for specific projects. Users can input material properties, dimensions, and project area to estimate CO₂ emissions. With a focus on early design stages, it promotes sustainable choices in construction by emphasizing the environmental impact of materials.

Aimed at architects, consultants, and students, the tool simplifies LCA concepts and supports the green transition in construction. It serves as both an educational guide and a practical resource for sustainable building design.
